Jeri Ryan portrays the sexy and alluring Seven Of Nine. A previous Borg, who was severed from the link by Captain Janeway during the season four premiere. Jeri Ryan is a newcomer to this whole "Star Trek" phenomenon that has spanned for decades. Jeri Ryan is a German born actress who grew up near military bases in Germany and Hawaii, and was born in Munich, Germany. She lived in many bases such as Kansas, Maryland, Texas and Georgia before the family settled in Paduch, Kentucky when she was eleven years old. After graduating in Northwestern University in Chicago with a merit in B.S. Theater with a National Scholar Merit, she moved to Los Angeles. Jeri's previous regular role before appearing on Voyager was in NBC's "Dark Skies", in which she portrayed Juliet, a mysterious government agent who helped in a secret plot against hostile extraterrestrials. Prior to her "Dark Skies" stint, she appeared in numerous television shows such as "Matlock", "Who's The Boss?", "Murder, She Wrote", "Reasonable Doubts" and "Diagnosis Murder". Additionally she appeared in two episodes of "Melrose Place" where she played a lesbian soap opera actress. Ryan's career also extends into several telefilms, appearing in such telefilms as "Coed Call Girl", "Nightmare In Columbia County", and in NBC's "In The Line Of Duty: Ambush In Waco". Her feature film credits include, "The Last Man", and "Men Cry Bullets". Ryan resides in Los Angeles, married and has a three year old son Alex. |
