ROXANN DAWSON

Roxann Dawson

Roxann-Biggs Dawson portrays the beautiful half-human, half-Klingon Maquis officer, Lt. B'Elanna Torres. The only other regular Klingon, since Michael Dorn's Lt. Commander Worf in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", Roxann plays her Klingon with a lot more solitude than the usually gruffy Klingons, but still her temper leaves somewhat to be desired. Roxann was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she received a major for theatre arts at University of California, Berkley. Her broadway roles are impressive with credits such as "A Chorus Line", "The Early Girl", "V & V Only", "The Tempest" and "Accelerado". On the small screen, she landed the role of Adrienne Morrow for NBC's "Another World", which led to other subsequent roles such as "Nightingales", "The Round Table", "Mortal Sins" and "Dirty Work". She made guest appearances on "The Untouchables", "Matlock" and "Jack's Place". Her feature film role, however, ain't that long though she does have credits, such as "Guilty By Suspicion", "Bound By Honor" and "Darkman II". She resides in L.A. with her husband Eric Dawson.
